In keeping with the spirit of sharing during the festive season, the St Jago Church of Christ, hosted a Christmas Treat for the Sunday School children on Sunday December 23rd. The treat, an annual event organized by the Ladies Group, was attended by numerous children and guardians, all of whom were presented with gifts donated by Ms Beverly Nelson (sister of Maxine Edwards, Ladies Group member).

“The children have been looking forward to this end of year treat and they have been practicing hard for the talent concert” said one Sunday School Teacher. The treat had a concert and a prize giving ceremony for students who performed well at Sunday School. The Prize Giving Ceremony also included special presentations to Students of the Young Adults & Adult Bible Classes. The treat brought laughter & brightened the faces of the children in attendance as they all participated in spot prize exercises and watched the talent show.

The treat MC and Guest Presenter was Bro. Angel Brown who encouraged the children to always be thankful for the support of parents, grand-parents and teachers who look after them and provide proper direction to their lives. After the Prize Giving exchanges, the evening activities ended with the kids being treated to their favorite ice cream and cake. The children were super excited when the ice-cream arrived.
